How we operate: Some meetings are lecture meetings by a medical professional(s), qualified contributing speaker or video presentation with a question and answer period to follow. Other meetings are discussion and support forums providing a friendly environment where participants offer support, provide coping skills and offer insights into living with chronic illness. Anyone interested in meeting information and CFS/FMS community news can sign up for our e-news link.

We encourage annual donation of $18 on a voluntary basis and appreciate support from our donors.

We welcome donations (which are tax-deductible as allowed by law for other charities) to fund group activities, seminars and research as adopted by the board of directors.

Please Note: Many of our members have allergies and chemical sensitivities. Therefore, National Jewish Center does not allow smoking or fragrances such as perfumes, colognes, after-shave lotions, or any other scented products. Please do not wear any scented products.

The following are general notes regarding RMCFA:

  • General Notes about events are found at the end of the Event Data page.
  • If away from a computer, information about our next upcoming event is available at our information and message line.  Call 303-4-CFS-FMS (303-423-7367) at anytime, day or night.
  • We function as an independent organization, avoiding entanglements with commercial interests.
    • However, while we facilitate exchange of unbiased educational information,
    • we provide opportunity for local medical professionals to become known to our participants.
  • While we hope you will let us get to know you as you get to know us, neither "Membership" nor eMail signup are required to make use of our services.
  • We operate as a charity, offering services free of charge.
    • Yet for those able to help, we depend on donations to continue to provide services.
    • Donations are tax deductible as for other charities (under our underlying legal name, Rocky Mountain CFS Association, Inc., used before we expanded to include Fibromyalgia in 2000).
  • Volunteer service is the driving force behind RMCFA.  If you are able to help, we hope you will interact with us by whatever means are available, and find a place of involvement suited to your talents and interest.
  • Thanks for "checking us out"!
